Job Profile | Responsibilities
- Interpret scripts, briefs, and concepts to craft engaging visual narratives
- Collaborate with creative teams, copywriters, designers, and clients to craft strong visual stories
- Direct pre-production activities, including casting, location scouting, and shot planning
- Lead the production process, guiding actors, cinematographers, and crew during shoots
- Oversee post-production (editing, color grading, sound design, etc.) to ensure the final output aligns with the creative vision
- Ensure the visual quality, pacing, and tone of each film aligns with the brand strategy
- Manage production budgets and timelines effectively
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovative filmmaking techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience as a director in advertising, corporate, short, product, service, cause, etc. films
- Strong portfolio/showreel showcasing storytelling, aesthetics, and versatility
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to think creatively under pressure and solve on-set challenges
- In-depth knowledge of camera work, lighting, editing, and sound
- Familiarity with production tools, storyboarding software, and editing platforms
- A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of branding and audience engagement
- Agency background or experience working with brands is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in film, media, communication, or a related field
- Experience working with advertising agencies or production houses
- Multilingual capabilities English, Gujarati, and Hindi
