Getting the world to mark their calendars
Vadodara - long known as the cultural capital of Gujarat– had yet to get the recognition it deserved. An enterprising volunteer group came up with a plan of organising a four day event hosting legends from India and around the world across the field of art, music, dance, drama, culture, cuisine and much more. When pitched, the idea got full support of Govt. of Gujarat and was given a huge boost when the Tourism department joined hands.
The big day republic weekend
Leading with the sheer scale of the event in the communication we worked on giving this grand event an equally big platform – positioning it as ‘The Big Republic Day Weekend’ being held from 23rd to 26th Jan, 2015. We took the idea of ‘just another cultural festival’ and transformed it into India’s Biggest Multi-arts and Culture Festival. From Vadodara International Art & Culture Festival (VIACF) we re-branded the event to VadFest (Vadodara Festival), capturing the essence of the event.

This was a truly 360° campaign, executed with perfection across India and internationally in USA, UK, South Africa and Canada. Pulling the stops on all the marketing and design strategies we took the event to a whole new level, branding it as a festival to watch out for on the Indian calendar.
